Welcome to NBAForDummies — a blog I started because I wanted a place to talk about the NBA without all the jargon, hot takes, and complicated stats that can make sports coverage feel exhausting.

The idea behind this site is simple: basketball is an amazing sport, and whether you have been watching for 30 years or you just started because your friend dragged you to a game, you deserve to be able to follow along and understand what is happening.

Why "For Dummies"?

Not because I think anyone is actually a dummy — obviously. It is more of a vibe. The goal is to write about the NBA the way you would explain it to a friend who is interested but does not necessarily know every stat or rule or piece of history. Straightforward, honest, and hopefully a little fun.

I am a huge Knicks fan (for better or worse), so you will probably notice a little extra coverage and passion when it comes to New York. But I cover the whole league and try to be fair to everyone... mostly.

On NBAForDummies you will find posts covering everything from big trades and playoff breakdowns to player spotlights and historic performances. I try to post regularly throughout the season so there is always something new to read.
