Warriors:
After winning the finals last year, The Warriors had a tough start to the first round this year, losing the first 2 games.
This was the first time that Steph Curry has ever been down 2-0 in a playoff series.
Also before now, the Warriors franchise as a whole had never won a best of 7 series when losing the first 2 games.
After losing the first two games, Curry made sure to step up and have a strong game 3. In game 3, Curry had 36 Points, 6 Rebounds, and 3 Assists, while making 48% of his shots. After this game, the Warriors started playing better and were able to end up winning the series.
Unsurprisingly, throughout the series, the best player for the Warriors was Steph Curry.

This series Curry averaged:
33.7 Points
4.9 Assists
4.9 Rebounds
0.9 Steals
48.8% of shots made

This includes an amazing game 7 that he had, scoring 50 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists, while making 53% of his shots. This is the most points in a game 7 by a single player in NBA history.
Kings:
At the start of the season, the Kings were not even expected to make the playoffs, as this is the first time they have done so in 16 years.
Even though the Kings ended top 3 in the conference, they were still expected to lose this series against the Warriors. Going into the series, no top 3 seed had ever been this big of an underdog in the first round.
All though they lost the series, the Kings still did a lot better than many people expected.
Throughout this series (and the whole season) the best player for the Kings was De'Aaron Fox.

This series Fox averaged:
27.4 Points
7.7 Assists
5.4 Rebounds
2.1 Steals
42.4% of shots made
