The Kings Make The Playoffs

The Sacramento Kings just made the Playoffs for the first time in 16 Seasons.

The Kings are currently 3rd in the western conference, with a record of 46-30. This secured them a spot in the playoffs for the first time since the 2005-06 NBA season. This was the longest active playoff drought in the NBA, NHL, NFL, and MLB.

The New and Improved Kings:

De'Aaron Fox:

De'Aaron Fox is currently having the best season of his career, being named an All-Star for the first time.

This Season De'Aaron Fox is averaging 25.3 Points, 6.1 Assists, and 4.2 Rebounds, making 51.6% of his shots.

De'Aaron Fox has been an important part of the Kings' improved team and record this season.

Domantas Sabonis:

The Kings traded for Sabonis last year and he has proven to be a great addition to the team, making his 3rd All-Star game appearance this season.

This season Sabonis is averaging 19.1 points, 12.5 Rebounds (1st in the league), and 7.3 assists, making 60.8% of his shots.

Kevin Huerter:

Kevin Huerter, who was traded to the Kings last year, is also playing some of his best basketball this season.

Kevin Huerter is averaging 15.4 Points, 3.4 Rebounds, and 3 Assists, making 48.8% of his shots. He is one of the better 3-point shooters this season, making 40% of his attempts.

Overall, the Kings are clearly much better than they have been in previous seasons, but we'll see how well they can do in the Playoffs.
