The 2025 NBA Playoffs are here!

After a long regular season of teams competing to make the playoffs, that time has finally arrived!

The playoffs begin today! Here are the games this weekend:

Saturday, April 19th:

Bucks vs. Pacers @ 1:00 PM

Nuggets vs. Clippers @ 3:30 PM

Knicks vs. Pistons @ 6:00 PM

Lakers vs. Timberwolves @ 8:30 PM

Sunday, April 20th:

Thunder vs. Grizzlies @ 1:00 PM

Celtics vs. Magic @ 3:30 PM

Cavaliers vs. Heat @ 7:00 PM

Warriors vs. Rockets @ 9:30 PM

The other 14 teams not listed above did not make the playoffs.

Some things that make these first-round matchups more exciting:

• This is Luka's first playoffs with LeBron, which will be exciting. The Lakers and Timberwolves each won 2 games against each other in the regular season, so this could make for an exciting and competitive first-round matchup.

• Overall, the Knicks had a much better record than the Pistons this season, but the Pistons did beat them 3 times, so this will be another interesting and exciting matchup to watch.

• The Nuggets and Clippers will also be another really competitive matchup, as these teams had identical regular-season records. Nikola Jokic is a top MVP candidate, but Kawhi Leonard has also been playing extremely well recently.

• Although the Celtics had a much better regular season record, they actually lost 2 out of their 3 games vs the Magic this season.
