Donte DiVincenzo Breaks Knicks 3-Point Record

Donte DiVincenzo has been an amazing addition to the Knicks and he continues to prove just how good he can be!

3-Point Records:

On March 25th in a game against the Detroit Pistons, DiVincenzo broke the Knicks franchise record for most 3-pointers made in a single game! In this game He made 11 3's surpassing Evan Fournier's previous record of 10! He also scored a career-high 40 points in this game!

Now on March 29th, against the San Antonio Spurs, DiVincenzo just also broke the Knicks franchise record for most 3's in a single season! Tonight DiVincenzo scored his 242nd 3-pointer of the season, surpassing Evan Fournier's record of 241!

The Knicks lost this game even though Jalen Brunson had a huge 61 POINT GAME!

(likely a new blog post about this tomorrow?)

This season DiVincenzo has averaged 3.3 made 3's per game while making 40% of them. This is slightly better efficiency than when Evan Fournier got the record. In the season that Fournier got the record, he averaged three 3's made per game while making 39% of them.

Most three-pointers made in a season by a Knick:

1. Donte DiVincenzo - 244 (with 9 games remaining)

2. Evan Fournier - 241

3. Julius Randle - 218

4. John Starks - 217

5. JR. Smith - 189

Stats:

This season DiVincenzo is averaging a solid:

14.9 Points

3.5 Rebounds

2.6 Assists

1.3 Steals

All of these stats have also gone up in the second half of the season, as he has been contributing a lot more ever since Julius Randle and OG Anunoby went out with injuries.

Overall, DiVincenzo has been a great addition to the Knicks :)
